Hog Roast Jarrow Attended A Birthday Party For A Wild Child!

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! The Hog Roast Jarrow team had a fantastic time catering for a children’s birthday party last week at – yes, you guessed it – the safari park!

We had been hired by Louise and Darren to handle this spectacular event, which they had carefully planned in honour of their daughter, Maisie’s 10th birthday. As a huge animal lover, this was the perfect place to celebrate

Hog Roast Jarrowher special day, and Hog Roast Jarrow had been tasked with serving one of our outstanding meal plans to the group of party animals.

With our catering manager, Jarrod, at the helm of this event, the clients had absolutely nothing to worry about. Instead of stressing, their morning was spent relaxing and enjoying a private drive through the wild animal enclosures with their daughter and her schoolmates, where they were treated to some fun facts from the keepers. Next up, they all took a leisurely stroll around the park, where they had some amazing encounters with lemurs, meerkats, penguins, llamas, rhinos, and so much more, after which the kids tired themselves out on the carnival rides, bouncy castles and giant slides! Meanwhile, Hog Roast Jarrow was busily preparing a tantalisingly tasty menu for the group’s lunch.

By 3 pm, our team had finished preparing our Gourmet BBQ Menu for the group of 30, which was right on time for them to arrive at the park’s private function hall, ravenous and ready to eat!

After being on their feet all day, the guests were happy to finally take a seat and get stuck into the bountiful spread of gourmet sausages, succulent chicken kebabs, meaty marinated spareribs, handmade British beef burgers, and grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers. Accompanying the mains was our Greek salad, gourmet coleslaw and a huge batch of sweet potato and regular fries, which went down a treat.

The last thing on Hog Roast Jarrow’s to-do list was to cut the birthday cake! Once Maisie had made her wish by blowing out all ten candles, Jarrod whisked away the cake, which he then sliced and dressed in fresh cream and berries before setting the plates on the buffet table for the guests to collect.

Maisie couldn’t have anticipated a better birthday, and Louise and Darren were over the moon with how smoothly everything ran, thanks to Hog Roast Jarrow!
