Charlotte had always planned on getting married in the winter, celebrating her reception with beautiful and cosy décor, followed by a comforting and warming meal. She contacted our catering manager Stephan to enquire about the wedding catering menus that we can provide, requiring something that was served buffet style and would be suitable for 75 guests. After a discussion, we decided that our ‘Introduction to wedding catering’ menu was the best choice.
On the day of the wedding, we began preparing the catering early to ensure that the hog was cooked to perfection for the 17:00 pm mealtime. The main course consisted of a slow-roasted pig, served with sage and onion stuffing and homemade applesauce, and whole-roasted chickens served with chipolata sausages. For meat-free guests, we provided vegetable and halloumi skewers. Alongside the main dishes, we also provided crispy Thai salad, Caesar salad, and pasta salad, as well as warming roasted baby new potatoes. This created a delicious meal with something for every guest to enjoy, providing a delicious and nutritious meal.
Following the main course, the guests enjoyed the couples wedding cake, served on plates dressed with berries, summer fruits, and English cream. This was a great way to end the meal and was a great way to enjoy the wedding cake in style!
