Hog Roast Ayton provides dining for many an event, and we have worked with all sorts of wonderful clients and companies across the years. Last week we were delighted to be able to check another couple of names as we provided our renowned hog roast catered dining to Jenna and Gary’s wedding in Middlesbrough in conjunction with the wonderful team at Nickynoo Mobile Bars! We provided the food, they provided the drinks, for an all-out fest of taste and style at this incredible wedding out at Howard Court.
Our catering manager for the day, Jarrod, knew that since Hog Roast Ayton would be working with the drink’s specialists at Nickynoo we would need to have plenty of food to help soak up all of their incredible chic gin concoctions that guests would certainly be enjoying sipping on. As ever, our hog roast was the main order of the day, cooked in style on our mobile roasting machine over hours to a brilliant level of taste and texture – golden in colouring, crisp around the skin, and oh so beautifully tender and juicy in the meat. Our hog roast is always served with its traditional accompaniments: our homemade sage and onion stuffing, homemade apple sauce, and of course the golden, bubbling crackling for that extra crisp.
As a different option there were vegetarian choices of our grilled veg and halloumi skewers. Both meals were then served alongside our garlic and rosemary roasted new potatoes, a special pasta salad, our mixed leaf salad, and our incredibly colourful homemade coleslaw. For the 100 guests there was also an abundance of gluten free rolls to enjoy their meal with and soak up the last of that juicy hog roast goodness on the plate.
Our meal evidently went down a storm as guests showered us with compliments, and of course it was a delight for us to try something new in working alongside Nicknoo, who’s special brand of chic and vintage drinks made the afternoon that even bit more stylish amongst Howard Court’s beautiful converted barn setting.
