This week we served a super spit roasted pig for our client this weekend, it was an early start and on the road with icy patches around in Redcar.
We packed up our mobile kitchen which is efficient and easy to tow for this job, the traffic was kind and we missed all the mad rush in Middlesbrough en route to Darlington.
The celebration was a joint birthday party which was held in a large garden of our clients who very kindly had put down a wooden base for us to set up our serving area upon, this was a great help as it was damp under foot. It was a beautiful bright day and the hog was spit roasting very well as we prepared the salads fresh on site. As darkness fell our serving area was lit up well by our special lighting equipment and it looked the business but the temperature plummeted to near freezing.
When the roasted pig was cooked we served our client guests quickly and efficiently so they could carry on with their celebrations. Again they really enjoyed the hot and spicy ribs we had added to their menu as a complimentary thank you for the business. A super event but I need to remember more layers from now on as Jack Frost has really arrived BRRRRRRRRRR!
