When Leila and David met at college, they never would have guessed that 11 years later they would be tying the knot with a beautiful traditional wedding surrounded by their friends and family. The couple had always planned to have a traditional ceremony as they both attended church in their childhood and have fond memories of the experience. Following the ceremony, they then wished to enjoy a formal meal before the reception, with 10 of their closest family and friends. For the meal, Hog Roast Cramlington has been hired to provide a delicious sit-down meal for the guests to enjoy. Our catering manager Jarrod was happy to get involved and to be a part of such a special day!
On the day of the wedding, the Hog Roast Cramlington team arrived at the venue in the morning to prepare for the 1:00pm mealtime. We began the menu by serving a delicious soup of the day, accompanied by fresh bread and butter. This dish went down well with the guests and was a great way to begin the menu.
The main course was a classic Hog Roast Cramlington meal and consisted of sliced pork and a selection of trimmings. We served roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables, sage and onion stuffing, fresh gravy, and more.
Our menu ended with an elegant dessert course, with guests choosing between sticky toffee pudding and chocolate torte. This was a great way to end the meal and prepared the guests to enjoy an afternoon of entertainment!
