Hog Roast Crook was thrilled to be part of Paige and Aaron’s special moment as they embarked on their journey toward wedded bliss.
When the couple first approached us with the exciting news of their engagement and their plans for a surprise engagement party, we couldn’t wait to help make their celebration unforgettable!
Working closely with our catering manager, Jarrod, Paige and Aaron shared their vision for the event – a classy affair that would dazzle their 65 guests, all while staying within budget.
Understanding their desires for a menu that would impress and accommodate all dietary needs, Jarrod suggested our popular Hog Roast Dining Menu; a purse-friendly option that offers our customers and clients a variety of choices to suit every palate.
The couple’s selection of dishes reflected their thoughtful consideration for their guests. For the meat lovers, we served up our signature hog roast, complete with crackling, stuffing, and applesauce, alongside succulent whole roasted free-range chickens seasoned with thyme, sea salt, and black pepper and served with sage and onion stuffing and chipolata sausages on fresh brown bread.
Meanwhile, our meat-free option featured delightful grilled vegetable kebabs, optionally accompanied by halloumi chunks, tzatziki dip, sweet chilli sauce, and flatbreads – the perfect solution for vegetarians and vegans alike.
To complement the mains, Hog Roast Crook presented an array of scrumptious side dishes, including creamy coleslaw, classic Caesar salad, heritage tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad, and dauphinoise potatoes baked to perfection with garlic, onions and double cream. And, of course, no feast would be complete without bread – wicker baskets filled to the brim with bread rolls and wraps added the perfect finishing touch to the spread.
As guests filled their plates and enjoyed the delicious food, Paige and Aaron took the opportunity to share their joyous news. With a flash of her new ring, Paige announced their engagement, sparking cheers and excitement throughout the room. The celebrations kicked into high gear as guests danced the night away and shared wedding ideas.
As the festivities drew to a close, Hog Roast Crook ensured that the venue was left tidy and pristine, clearing away leftovers and cooking equipment with care.
