Earlier this year, Hog Roast Tynemouth was hired to cater for a retirement party taking place this February. The event was being hosted for Martin, to celebrate his retirement after working for over 40 years at a veterinary practice. Over the years he has cared for and saved thousands of animals and is a valued member of the local community. To mark his retirement, the practice is hosting a party at the local function room, with customers, locals, friends, and family in attendance-as well as their pets! Hog Roast Tynemouth has been hired to serve a classic hog roast for the occasion, which is sure to go down a treat with the human guests!
On the day of the party, the Hog Roast Tynemouth team arrived at the venue in the morning and began to prepare for the 3:00pm serving time. We began our prep by slow-roasting the hog and allowing it to cook to perfection. Once ready, it was expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we provide succulent pork sausages and veggie sausages. For the selection of sides, the guests enjoyed homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, corn cobettes, and a selection of seasonal salad dishes. Our catering went down a treat at the party and was perfect for enjoying as part of the celebrations. It was great to see Martin being celebrated by so many people and it is sure that he will be missed.
