Lily is expecting her second baby later in 2023 and is currently preparing as much as possible to make the new arrival run as smoothly as possible. Part of this process is hosting a baby shower, which has been lovingly organised by her older sister. Her baby shower is taking place at a function room near their home town in the North East, with the theme being pink vs. blue. Her sister has planned a variety of party games, created invitations, and hired catering for the occasion to make sure that the day runs smoothly. For the menu, Hog Roast Blaydon has been hired to provide a classic hog roast, followed by a tasty dessert course for 40 guests to enjoy. Our catering manager Jarrod was happy to get involved and to be part of such a memorable occasion.
In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Blaydon team is planning on arriving at the venue with plenty of time to prepare for the 3:00pm start time. We will begin with the main course, which is going to consist of sliced pork in fresh bread rolls, served with sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Following the mains, we will then be serving individual cheesecakes, sticky toffee pudding, and chocolate torte, with every dish served alongside English cream and fresh berries.
