This December, Hog Roast Dudley was contacted by Mandy to arrange catering for her mother’s 80th birthday. The party was set to take place at Mandy’s home, with 14 of their family and friends in attendance. For the menu, our catering manager Jarrod was hired to provide a tasty festive buffet lunch for the guests to enjoy, with a few adjustments. All of our menus can be altered to suit your needs, so the Hog Roast Dudley team was more than happy to get involved!
As the meal was set for 14:00, the Hog Roast Dudley team arrived at the family home in the morning to begin preparing the catering. For the main dishes, we prepared well done sirloins of beef, lamb joints with mint sauce, and grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers. Once ready, the main dishes were served buffet style to the guests, along with fresh bread rolls, cauliflower cheese, pigs in blankets, roasted potatoes, homemade gravy, and a seasonal vegetable medley. This included all of the traditional Christmas trimmings, with plenty of the guests to enjoy. We served the menu buffet style on wooden bamboo crockery and cutlery, as this was the ideal level of formality for the event and set a formal tone for the afternoon. Our catering went down a treat and this menu was ideal for the birthday girl and her guests!
