April Hog Roasts, Cullercoats.

April has certainly started with a bang, with a very busy weekend of weddings and beautiful sunshine! The first job was in Cullercoats. A seaside village with a very pretty bay & it was a gorgeous evening to serve Gourmet Hog roast in Cullercoats to hungry wedding guests. Louise the bride contacted us afterwards to say how much her guests had enjoyed the hog roast in Cullercoats & the service was also praised (full comments in Testimonials).

The same night we were also a little way along the coast. The venue was The Watch House at the Spanish Battery Volunteer Lifeboat Museum. The building is great – quirky & unusual, & perched right on the cliff top with fabulous views over the river mouth, the lighthouse & out to sea.  (See photos of the scene as the light faded, from our serving point outside). It was a fabulous evening reception & we served full hog roast & all the trimmings, herb-buttered new potatoes  & freshly made salads – all of which was demolished despite the fish & chips the guests had been served at lunchtime!

Lois, Andi & Angela were in the meantime at gorgeous Crook Hall, where they served the same menu as above, but this time the bride & groom opted for our delicious Rosemary & Garlic roast potatoes – & Lois reports the food was well-enjoyed by all.

After the big clean-up we’re now gearing up for Easter weekend & fingers crossed for some of the same weather!
