With the year almost wrapped up and everyone drifting into that half-festive, half-sleepy mood, we didn’t want to sneak off for Christmas without giving you a proper send-off. So, from all of us at Hog Roast North East, merry Christmas and the warmest wishes for 2026.
If you crossed paths with us at any point in 2025, whether you were hosting a tiny family gathering in a garden or organising a full-scale corporate bash with clipboards and spreadsheets galore, we just want you to know how much it meant to be invited into your plans. We’ve served food in barns, hotel ballrooms, offices, marquees, school halls, back fields – you name it. And each event had its own vibe, its own lovely crowd, its own stories that we’re carrying with us right through to next year.
Normally, we’d pick a handful of favourite highlights to look back on, but this year really didn’t make that easy for us. One day we were carving pork in the rain to a group of people who didn’t mind getting soggy, the next we were serving up a totally untraditional fish-and-chip feast for a lively party. Oh – and whoever first suggested “curry with co-workers” as a catering theme really deserves a medal. You kept Hog Roast North East on our toes in the very best way.
All of that creativity, all the unusual requests and clever ideas you brought to us throughout the year, reminded us why we love doing what we do. Hog Roast North East might be known for our signature hog roast (and yes, we’re very proud of it!), but you gave us so many chances to flex our menu muscles and show there’s a lot more in our toolkit.
Now, as we look ahead, the wheels for 2026 are already turning. We’ve got dates booked, ideas brewing and a real urge to push things even further. Can we top this year? We like to think so – and with your help, we absolutely will.
If you’re ready to make 2026 a bit special, we’d love to be part of it. So, why not give yourself something fantastic to look forward to next year? Give us a call, drop us an email or slide into our DM’s to secure a slot.
And finally, here’s to another brilliant year, shared meals and great company. Happy holidays from Hog Roast North East!
